Oooh so messy. We know how that is. You'll have to start making them twice as much food in hopes that half of it will find its way to their mouths.
I always wait as long as I can before I let my kids feed themselves. I just hate cleaning up the mess they make. I know it is part of childhood, but they have plenty of time for that later.
Looks like a lot of fun. Are you coming up in July? I'm not registered for the race, but I'm sure up for a run.
I do not know how people without dogs do it, Max is SUCH a messy eater! Love the pictures! -Allison
