7 months old and up to no good!

The babies are 7 months old! Among many new tricks, the most distressing for mama is the crawling Dallin has picked up and the fact that my little girl has turned into quite the drama queen already! Don't be deceived by the ultra cute pictures of her...she will throw full on tantrums when ever and where ever she pleases. Dallin is not safe to put anywhere on the floor now and it will only get worse once sister figures out how to move too! They grow up and become mobile way too soon!

Swimming Suites

We finally broke down and bought the babies swimming suites while we were in Phoenix. I haven't actually used them yet as I need to buy swim diapers still, but the intention is good and don't they look adorable?!

More twins!

These are the last set of twins (of three) born in the family. Their names are Keenan and Kiaya. They are 5 weeks old and in the pic my are almost 7 months old. The big sister is Chanelle. She is 10 years old and a great help to mom and dad. It was fun to see them and snuggle on them. I don't remember mine being that small. They seem so big these days!

Jennifer

I haven't posted lately because our lives have gotten a little more complicated in the past couple of weeks. Last Friday Mason's sister, Jennifer, and her 3 boys were in a very serious car accident which left her oldest boy with 39 stitches on his forehead and her in critical condition. She hasn't woken up yet, but we are hopeful. We do not know what the full damage to her brain is at the moment, but she has a broken collar bone, broken shoulders (both), 8 to 9 broken ribs and she currently has pneumonia. We ask for your prayers. Mason is trying to work in Carlsbad while I am staying at mom's in Phoenix so I can go to the hospital daily and visit with Jennifer and help distract Jackie. I will post pics of the cute babies later.

Bath time smiles and washcloths

Apparently I used to suck on washcloths when I took baths as a baby. Do all babies do this or is it genetic?

Pretty bows and handsome hats

Mason thinks putting bows on Clara is wholly unnecessary, but isn't she adorable! This is a new bow Granee sent to us last week.
Dallin finally fits in this cute corduroy hat Aunt Roxie gave us 5 months ago!

Fly Girl!

Mason has been wanting me to post this adorable picture of Clara in Uncle Chuck's airplane. Mason says she looks like she wants to fly the airplane!

6 month update

No cute pics to go with this blog. The babies are down for a quick nap after 2 crazy days of doctors and shots. Yesterday they had their 6 month check up and associated shots.
Dallin:
25 1/2" long
15 pounds 7 ounces
Clara:
25 1/2" long
14 pounds 5 ounces
Both also had pretty bad ear infections again or still, I have lost track. The doctor decided to give them a series of 3 antibiotic shots instead of oral medication. So, they got an extra shot yesterday and one this morning with their last one tomorrow. Needless to say, they do not like the doctors or the nurses or mama! I hope this works, if it doesn't we are off to the ENT specialist to get tubes in the ears.

Clara

I had to post some cute pics of baby Clara. These were taken at the wedding in Albuquerque a couple of weeks ago!

Such a boy!

Dallin has decided that playing in the dirt and eating grass is tops in his book!

Highchairs

I have been back and forth on the whole highchair debate and finally after getting fed up with feeding the babies in bouncer chairs, my mom brought me the chairs she bought when I went to Utah. They are great and the babies don't seem to mind them. In fact when I put them in them, they automatically get excited because they know it is time to eat (especially Dallin, he eats anything!)! Thanks Granee!

6 months old!

My babies are half a year old! I am amazed that the time has flown by so quickly. The newest things they are doing are: sitting up (although still a little rolly), rolling everywhere, eating veggies and fruits (Clara refuses to eat anything green unless I put applesauce in it!), and the best thing is napping during the day at the same time! (Thanks Alisa!)
