Clara has been developing her high pitched scream...here is a glimpse. It is only cute for about 2 seconds.

Too big for their own good!

Dallin has learned (too quickly I might add) that kneeling and then standing in his crib is very entertaining. Clara is now trying to follow suit.

Butt paste for all kinds of cheeks!

Dallin developed a teething rash on his face this past week and the Doctor prescribed Desitin for his face!

8 months old

At eight months old, Clara has finally decided to crawl forward and she loves sitting up like a big girl and can get into the sitting position from any other position she might find herself in.
Dallin has been crawling for over a month and has moved on to pulling himself up on things and standing when holding onto something! I am mortified that he will be walking sooner than later! He gets stuck a lot in weird positions and places and he doesn't appreciate that very much.

Parks are overrated when it's 105 degrees!

This was Dallin and Clara's first time at the park and Brooke (my excellent helper for the week) decided to take them when it was 105 degrees outside. Needless to say, we lasted all of 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Friends

We went to Silver City, NM this past weekend so Mason could go to his meetings and we could play with our neighbor friends and go to my cousin's bridal shower. The babies seemed to enjoy Granee's house. It was very clean (thanks to Aunt Gertie) so we could slide all over the floor and eat anything off the floor. The babies loved Dianne (she is 10 years old). The pictures put the size of my babies in perspective. They are getting way too big!

Happy Independence Day!

I didn't buy any of the clothes for this holiday. Thanks to cousin Benjamin for the great digs Dallin is wearing! I actually bought Clara's outfit before she was born for $3 (I am sure Alisa thinks this is a great deal :) ). They were pretty cooperative for the pics although Clara wanted brother's hat for herself!



Activities on the 4th of July: Daddy and Clara reading books at the park and Dallin playing with his favorite toy Granee bought for him. It supposedly tastes like vanilla!?
