Can you believe it has been 3 months since our babies were born? I can't. Here are their 3 month pictures taken today. It was a 2 hour ordeal, but the babies were troopers.
Dallin wondering what the heck is going on!
Clara being sweet. Love the tutu!

Beach front property in Arizona?
Well, not exactly beach front property, but close enough. The babies, Aunt Helen and I went to Tempe Town Lake today and walked around the "beach" (a park with grass and dirt next to the man-made lake) and sunbathed in the shade for the sake of not sun burning my 3 month old babies. It was a lot of fun as the day wasn't too hot, only 83 degrees today! The babies and I have had a lot of fun in Arizona visiting with Helen and my best friend Sarah aka Dallin's BFF (they really get along). We are missing our Daddy though and are excited to see him next weekend. That's right, another whole week of daily adventures in Arizona. Enjoy the pics, Dallin didn't appreciate the hat he had to wear and Clara was just happy to be there and talk to her Aunt Helen!

Foot fetish?
I have a bit of a foot fetish. Mason and I always take pictures of our feet when we go on vacation and we have a few great pictures of our feet hanging on our picture wall. Well, I decided that baby feet are better than anything in the world. Wouldn't you agree? Both babies got my feet as they can stretch and wiggle their toes independently of each other. My mom has called this phenomenon "Kitty cat feet."
Fur babies
Everyone knows that before our beautiful babies came along, Mason and I (Mason doesn't really claim them) only had fur babies named Elmo and Tasha. My sister Helen has been taking care of them since our move to Carlsbad and they (particularly Elmo) have been driving her crazy. Here are some pics of my fur babies. Elmo found that my mom's giant plants served great as and bed.
Apparently sleeping this way runs in the family!

Lunch with family
The babies enjoyed Mexican food with their Uncle Taylor, Aunt Kashen and Aunt Helen. Clara decided that sleep was more important than being snuggled so Dallin soaked it up. Uncle Taylor was trying to convince me that feeding my 3 month old baby red chili enchiladas was okay! I told that would be fine if he wanted to take him home and suffer the effect with Dallin! He politely declined.

Which one is the animal?
Today the babies and I went to the Phoenix Zoo with Aunt Helen. The zoo was very exciting for Helen and I, but the babies didn't seem to appreciate it very much. In the entire 4 hours spent at the zoo, they woke up for 20 minutes to eat. Well, maybe when they are a bit older they will appreciate it more.
PS Don't ever buy baby sunscreen at the zoo...for a little tiny tube it cost me $10! That's what I get for not being prepared.

Big Eyes
The babies and I decided to take a little break from Carlsbad and visit our friends and family in Arizona for a week while Daddy works and hopefully sleeps a lot in our absence. Mason asked for updated pictures everyday that he was gone so here are some cute pics with the babies looking at the camera with their big eyes! Expect updates daily on our adventures in Arizona this week!

Two is better than One!
Current pics of the twins. They are getting so big and a lot more active during the day. With new tricks everyday, it is hard to believe that we could ever get enough! Clara learned how to roll over from her tummy to her back a couple of days ago and Dallin finally decided he wasn't going to be shown up by his sister and rolled over today from his tummy to his back. He had a little trouble when he tried to roll over ONTO his sister and was a little mad at the interruption!
Upside down baby and feeding two alone...mystery exposed!
Dallin has decided that being upside down is far better than right side up. He had been crying for awhile and when I tried to hold him, he wanted nothing to do with snuggling. He has started a new thing...after falling asleep he moves his whole body around to wake up and then cries because he is so tired. I guess he is worried he will miss something if he sleeps too much! Clara still firmly believes in naps and takes them frequently. They don't team up on mom too often!
Here is an example of how I manage to feed and pacify 2 babies at one time. It changes depending on the circumstances and which baby is demanding more attention at the time! The adventures of twins! Side note: I am in the car but we were not driving. Do not panic!
Trip to the River Walk
Carlsbad doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of shopping (only Walmart), but it has some beautiful natural areas around the Pecos River. Here is out recent trip to the river with the babies in the stroller. They liked it but they do not like the wind in New Mexico. Hopefully they will get used to it! The pictures are of Clara...Dallin had better ideas than of taking pictures at the river...he was asleep in the stroller!

Has it really been 2 months?
Here are some pictures of the babies 2 months ago. I cannot believe how different they look now. How time flies when one is having fun and no sleep!

2 heads are better than one! This is how the babies slept any chance they got. They got used to touching eachother when they were inside the cramped space mom provided them for 9 months!
