What happens when you leave twins in the care of 2 Grandmas?

A relaxing pedicure for Dallin...

And NOT going to bed for Clara but instead sitting on the island and while eating an apple and apple sauce.

So spoiled!

Finally settled in Salt Lake City, UT

We are settled (kind of) in Salt Lake City, UT. The babies started swimming lessons today and screamed the entire time! Oh well, hopefully they will like them better in the next couple of lessons.
Here are some pictures from the latest adventures. We are staying at Granee's condo, so we get to walk around temple square a lot and go to the various concerts that are offered in the summer. It has been a lot of fun to be near so many fun things. The babies need to RUN and play A LOT and Granee and I are very eager to wear them out before they go to bed. Enjoy!

Moving Day!

I will probably not blog for a couple of weeks. We have sold our house and have to be out of it by July 14th! The plans are a little crazy right now, as it looks like the kids and I are moving to Salt Lake City, UT for a couple of months while Mason and his brother are moving into a travel trailer until the job is done in August. After that, who knows! We have faith all will work out according to plan!
Life is ultra busy with moving, work, Mason finishing his school semester and the babies getting into everything! There really isn't much time in the day anymore. So until I am settled into Utah, here are some cute pics of the babies doing what they do best...being themselves!
I know the picture of Clara is blurry, but it captures what she loves the best...her sandbox. I think she looks like a Who in this picture with her crazy hair!
Dallin thinks he has to do everything Momma does. He had to have an apron on to help cook!

Random cuteness

Clara is my little concentrator. She loves to watch Cars and any movie with singing and dancing. She is looking a little grumpy here and maybe she is just a LITTLE too big for the baby buggy?

Dallin is starting to look too OLD. I do not want my babies to grow up this fast. He is still very attached to his binky (moreover his mother is attached to it also.) As you can see, having 2 binkys is better than one and he would have more if he had found them.

College bound!

Well, I'm sure I don't need to explain, but when your 18 month old babies are tying on laptops and reading books on subjects such as Spanish and the Little Prince, it goes without saying that they MUST be college bound!
PS I know Dallin is holding the book upside down, but I attribute it to a different and more advanced form of reading!

Ode to our tire swing

Ode to our tire swing all tied up and red,
We love to sit on you all day and before bed.

Although we prefer to be on it without each other,
We will tolerate it with help from our mother.

So dear tire swing, please don't let us fall
It is not something we can replace at the mall!

Ode to our tire swing that keeps mommy sane,
We will play with you always as long as it doesn't rain!

House update part 6

Backyard BEFORE:

Backyard AFTER:
I wasn't going to post the backyard pictures, but I have been working SO hard on it that I needed some words of affirmation! If you notice in the back part of the yard, the tire swing that our Uncle Justy made for the babies is installed. The babies love it and Justin is convinced that it will sell our house!

Living room BEFORE:

Living room AFTER:
This makeover includes the ceiling and walls being retextured and painted by Mason and Justin. This room took 4 months to finish! The white molding helps with the finish touches!

Hallway BEFORE:

Hallway AFTER:
Amazing what a little white paint can do to a dark hallway!
